Lifelong Learning Week Registration Form

Please fill out the form below to register an event for Lifelong Learning Week.

Registration for events is open from January 23, 2012 to August 17, 2012. In order to meet marketing deadlines, we will not accept event registrations after August 17th.

If you would like to run an event but need some ideas, click here to see some helpful hints before submitting your event.

If you will be running multiple events please register the first event using this form (with all contact info), then email the details of all other events to llw@abea.on.ca or mail to

All events must take place within the Greater Hamilton Area and be learning events that are free. See Participation Agreement below for more details.

Participation Agreement

By registering an event you agree to follow the participation agreement. Please read carefully.

plan our own event(s) and follow the Human Rights Code
run event(s) for free as registered and not use this forum for our fundraising purposes
incur all costs related to planning and running our event(s)
take all responsibility for liability issues
supply all event information by August 17, 2012 (failure to do so may result in information not being included in announcements to the public)
inform all staff of event date(s), time(s), and details
take pictures at event(s) (if possible) and submit them to ABEA electronically and mail signed release forms by October 15, 2012
promote ABEA before and during Lifelong Learning Week (through marketing materials given by ABEA)
introduce ABEA and Lifelong Learning Week to participants using the script included in the event host package
